I have never heard of a hamburger refered to as a sandwich, sorry I can answer your question.

Thomas....mickeyD's mostly calls their non-burger options sandwiches...ie. the fillet of fish sandwich, chicken sandwich etc.....at least that's what I've noticed

I never gave it much thought, but I guess a burger would qualify as a sandwich.

Thats what we found to be weird..............

A sandwich is 2 slices of bread with filling, but a burger is hot stuff on a bun.........like a hamburger pattie for example with some salad.

Strange ideas at McDonalds over there.

I must say this tho about Mc Donalds over there..................I really liked the bottomless drinks & Lachlan loved the idea of the big McFlurry.
