We are coming in WOW!!! less than a month~:cool1: :jumping3: :jumping2: :jumping3: :flower1: and I would LOVE some feedback on this hotel. We are getting the disney view and while we are paying what we would pay for the value onsite hotel I'm hoping this is going to mean a bigger room and such. Any experiences?:bounce:  :bounce:

I stayed there a couple of years ago before what I understand was extensive remodeling so I can't comment on present condition o rooms, etc. However, the rooms are a nice size, we had two queen size beds. If I remember correctly balcony was maybe large enough for a couple of chairs. The upper floors facing Disney have really nice views. I think we were around the 12th floor with a view of Downtown Disney and Parks in the distance, plus a nice sunset. You can walk to Downtown Disney in about 15 minutes if you don't want to drive or take a bus. Nice sidewalks along road hotel on and I have had no problem walking even at night. We have also stayed at 3 other hotels on this road in past.

We are going to WDW for a planned at the last minute weekend trip in October. Checked this hotel and best rate I found was to call hotel directly and I got a $71 AAA rate for two queen beds; king bed a little higher.

You can also walk or drive to the nearby Crossroads (I think) shopping area where there are several restaurants.

I have stayed there several times, alll thru Priceline. I have paid anywhere from $17 to $27 per night without a resort fee. I understand that there is now a $5 resort fee & even the PL bids have increased for this hotel, most PL bids for here are in the range of $40. Star rating went from a 2 1/2 to a 3 since the renovations. The last time I was there, they were in the middle of the renovations. The rooms are a very nice size, the staff were great & if you get a room on the upper floors the view is beautiful. If you face the WDW parks, you can see the fireworks & if you face the side where it's towards the SeaWorld/Universal area, you can see the fireworks there as well (if they are scheduled during your stay). I love the area, you can walk to DTD and stroll around the shops at night, makes for a nice "after dinner walk". Only problem I had with them was that by the time the bus picked you up for the WDW parks, it was usually crowded. I think that hotel is the 2nd to last stop prior to heading to the parks.

I stayed there last October for a night through Priceline. I had a very large room that faced EPCOT so I could see the fireworks there.

For what I paid, $27.00 through Priceline, worth every cent. I did not use the bus system as we switched to another hotel the next day. I would stay there again though if the situation presented itself.
