can anyone tell me what the amtrak silver line is like compared to auto train?

I'm planning another Disney trip for December. It's just going to be me and my 3 kids going (12,10,6). I took the auto train last month and it was ok. This time however i'm considering taking the silver line from Wilmington, De to Kissimmee. The auto train is 3 hours from me, and the silver line is only 30 minutes. When I get to WDW I never use my car anyway, so I don't really need it. What's the silver line like compared to the auto train? I would be sitting coach, getting a bedroom is just too costly. Are people in and out of the train all night? I worry because it's just me and my 3 kids. Any info would be great! Thanks!

Yes, people will be getting off and on the whole trip. You can look at the schedule online and it will tell you the stops. Your seats are not pre-assigned, they give you your seat number as you step on the train.

Food is not include like the autotrain.
