Can Anyone tell me what sort for crowd to expect during the last week of July at IOA, and Universal Studios? Thanks !! :sunny: :wave2: :flower1:

Busy.

July and the first two weeks of August are the busy time for all amusement parks in the USA. The last two weeks of August it lightens up as kids go back to school.

The only positive about going in July, is that the park stays open until 10pm, and there will be fireworks at USF. Your attack plan is to arrive early, visit for a few hours, then go back to your hotel from 1pm - 5pm (very hot), then come back at night.

Yikes!! July is the only time we can go too! Thanks for the information about the fireworks I didnt know about them.
Are they for some sort of celebration or Just because it is the month of July? I know Im dreading the hot weather and I will have two children with me!! I think we will take your advice on the nap !! Thanks you were very helpful!! :flower1: :daisy: :flower3:
P.s. Do you happen to know how everbody gets those cute countdowns to their vacation??? I cant seem to find anything on them!!!

They do fireworks in July because it's the busy summer season. They usually only do it for the month of July, the first two weeks of August, and maybe a couple weeks at Mardi Gras, which has passed. They used to do it at both parks, but this year, the rumor is that it will only happen at USF. The show usually starts at 09:55pm.

The countdown timer can be found in this thread.

We are going back again in July. Definitly a hot one for sure. We didn't mind the the rides that got you soaked that much. When you have FOTL the crowds aren't so bad.

We have been going in July for 4 years. The lines are long and it is hot. BUT as long as you are staying on site the lines do not matter because you go to the front of the line....This makes it ..We went back for a swim at lunch time every day..We saw everything in the parks in 3 days plus went on the best attractions many times...
