Can Anyone Tell Me How Long It Takes?

I put my deposit on BCV on tuesday!!

Was wondering what the next step is. Still have not recieved anything in the mail(will call tommorow) Also after sending signed papers back how long does it take before it it "official"or before closing??

Just wondering what to expect--Ready to get this show on the road!!!!

You should be recieving a package in the mail shortly with a number of things....most importantly the paperwork that needs to be signed and sent in to complete the purchase, for them to be able to record the deed, and it to be official. The paperwork has directions on how and where exactly to sign each thing. There were also temporary ID cards with our member # in a little slot in the paperwork folder. When we got ours there was also a bunch of other papers including a public offering statement, discolsures, etc (about 300 pages or so), also we got our guide book, and a bag. It came in a cool DVC box via Fed Ex...you'd definitely know what it is when it comes. I don't remember exactly how long it took between putting the deposit down and getting hte package. 7 - 10 days is what it should take to get your package. Ours arrived in 8. Welcome Home!

I put my deposit down on Thurs. Mar.27 and received the papers only 5 days latter. The person I was working with estimated 7-9 days. We held on to the papers for a couple days and are sending them out tomorrow.

The Purchase Agreement has and estimated closing date of May 6th. I don't know what that means or how accurate it is.

I will be calling in the next few days to see when we can reserve, etc.
