We at there last fall. We now own (resale) at OKW, so I'm sure we will be there more. We were there for luch and i had the cuban sandwich..very tasty and crunchy. My dad had the club sandwich and enjoyed it..pretty basic. My hubby had the pasta and they had just changed the cream sauce on it and the manager came out and asked him what he thought because they had changed the recipe. He really enjoyed it btw.
For dessert dad had the bananabread sundae...big ..dunno how he ate it all PLUS a milkshake as his dring! He said he needed his calcium...ahem.
Hubby had the key lime pie and it was amazing.
I had the chocolate cake..it was eh.
I saw someone in the restaurant getting the cheesecake and it looked WONDERFUL and huge.
The manager said they make the dessert onsite and it is obvious..they are good.
Btw, I think this is the first and only time i have EVER had a manager at a disney restaurant come out and check on how we liked the meal....it was very nice.
Other things:
At lunch it was very quiet and hardly anyone there even during a
free dining time of year.
It is a cute and relaxed place...very cozy/comfy/relaxing.
Our waiter was a young guy and had a spark...he was teasing us a bit and when we played along, he just kept going. I kinda felt like i was at WCC or Prime Time, but I like that. He said he's not nearly as 'charming' if he works the morning hours for breakfast...lol.
Oh, and we had the free dining and they allowed smoothies and milkshakes as our beverage.
We really liked it. Nice out of the way place.
I'd like to try it for breakfast and dinner at some point.
I say go for it.
As far as the kid's menus go, the table service restaurants have almost identical kid's meals no matter where you go.
I got the feeling that at Olivia's, if your little one needed something a little different, they would be happy to help.
