Like in new jersey week? Lmao when's ny week ?

It seems that people have found bigger crowds during the portion of the week that overlaps with Veteran's Day weekend. I am wondering if the whole week might be crowded though, given the new free dining offer (free dining is offered if you check in before the official start of Jersey week, but not if you arrive later in the week)

We are checking in on nov. 5. Is that before jersey week starts and I didn't know about free dining. What is it? Thanks for any info.

Hi All,

We are from NJ and planned our last two visits for "Jersey Week". "Jersey Week" are the days, typically during the 2nd week of November, when all of the schools in NJ have off for teachers convention.

For example, in 2011, we have a 1/2 day on 11/9 and then off on 11/10 and 11/11 (which is also Veterans Day). Many people either start their holiday early and take the whole week, or they take off starting on the Thursday and push it until early the following week.

We found that the crowds didn't really get bad until the Thursday of Jersey Week (for 2011 it would be 11/10). Fri-Sun were the most crowded but nothing like the crowds of the major holidays or the summer months.

The weather was gorgeous, although a smidge cool to swim...for me anyway :lmao:

Don't worry, it will be great <fist pump> lol!!

If you can move your vacation up 1 day, you should be able to get free dining - see http://bookwdw.reservations.disney....=Promo&promotionCode=fy12dine&market=fy12dine

Disney is also running some kind of room only discount- 25% off value/moderate, 35% off deluxe, but not sure what blackout dates apply- the policy for room only discounts seems a little different than the free dining offer. FYI- the offers can't be combined : (

Nov. 4 should not be jersey week this year.. the official dates should be Nov. 7-11. Normally the njea conference is the first week. this year they changed it to 10 and 11th. Jersey week is that week, when we all have off from school.

i believe the above posters are talking about disney things/hotel, dining, and not universal hotels.

uo does not have a free dining program.

I know. I have been waiting for a room only discount for Disney for a while now and nothing has come out. Just wondering what discount she is talking about.

There is an AP room only discount, but i don't think I've seen one announced for non passholders.
