I would suggest that you go back to EPCOT after your dinner so you won't miss Illuminations. It is a wonderful show- and worth going back for!

You are trying a lot of our favorite places!!!

I doubt you will need any of those snacks. For example, We ate at Chef Mickeys and were barely hungry in time for dinner.

Tuesday: I would try to get a later time for Hoop Dee Doo. You will barely be finished with lunch at Cindy's and then have to run over to HDD. You are supposed to arrive there 30 minutes early and unfortunately it took us over 45 minutes to get to HDD from MK.

Wednesday: The ice cream social will take at least an hour of your time. We actually had to WAIT almost an hour for our PS with the ice cream social!! They had put up the dinner menu on the wall while we were waiting and I was freaking out that we wouldn't get to do the social. Also, those ice creams are BIG. Personally I couldn't enjoy a meal at the Luau at 5 pm after just eating there. I am not even sure you can make it in time for a 5 pm PS let alone be hungry! Can you do a later seating?? I second the idea of going back to EPCOT for Illuminations. Its our favorite.

Thursday looks ok time wise. But its still a lot of food. We ate at Cape May and couldn't look at food until the evening. Sci Fi is a favorite too. But DH and I split a meal because they were big portions. I've never been to Brown Derby but always wanted to try.

Your plans look fine. But you will be eating MOST of the time!! :D

Wishes and Illuminations are both usually at park close. When we were there, the Jammin Jungle parade was around 3 pm.

Also remember that mid-July is HOT, HOT, HOT!! Be prepared. Maybe your DS would like to swim in the afternoon.

I know it looks like a lot of food....the snacks are questionable... I will get a better feel of things once Im able to start lining up the PS's. This is basically what I "want" to do. I have to have it on paper to look at while I make the PS. I'm sure I'm will have to leave off a few, but I didnt want to forget something.

Thanks again,
Southern

P. S. I'm use to the hot and humid weather....I live on the Alabama Gulf Coast.

We were only able to eat two meals a day. After a big sit-down meal we really weren't hungry for about 7 hours. I had more planned that we never did because we just weren't hungry!

Also, usually the latest Fantasmic dinner package is around 4:45 (from what I've been reading), even when Fantasmic is late! There is a thread here somewhere that people are complaining because Disney Dining CM's are telling them the latest they can get PS for is 3:30!

I agree - it's probably too many meals. The most we could eat a day was 2. When you're hot & tired it's difficullt to eat a lot or often. You may want to schedule a breakfast then early dinner. That may leave you snack opportunities. Another option is have light breakfast items in your room then schedule a lunch & late dinner. But towards the end of our week we even decided that 2 big meals a day was too much - ended up canceling some PS. The food at Disney is part of the great experience - be sure to be hungry enough to enjoy it!

You didn't say (I don't think) but your trip is in July, right? MK should be open late. Wishes will probably be either at 9 or 10. I don't know how long the HDDR or the Ohana dinner lasts. If nothing else, if you get a later seating for HDDR, you may be able to see Wishes from the beach at the campground or on the boat back over to MK. That's not an optimal viewing, but it's better than nothing.

AK will probably close at either 5 or 6. When I went 10/3, it closed at 5, and the parade was at 4. You really should see it. I loved it!

Epcot - Illuminations is almost always at 9 PM.

W/ all those meals, you may end up foregoing some of those snacks!

Although you have made great restaurant choices, I definitely think you've planned too many sit down meals.... If you have a sit down breakfast, you definitely don't need a sit down lunch.

I would suggest either skipping breakfast (or maybe something small in your room) and having an early sit down lunch. Or, having the big sit down breakfast, and skipping lunch.....

I planned the way you did one year, and we spent the whole time rushing from one PS to the next. It was a lot of pressure, and a LOT of food!

Good luck!

Southern4sure: you have the makins' of a wonderful trip here! Can I come too? ;)

You have a lot of eating scheduled, and my advice is to evaluate your schedule after the first day. if the park isn't crowded, you might find that you are done with one park early and want to head to another, etc. (this happened to us - we used the extra magic hour at mgm and were finished the park by 3. decided to cancel our 5:30 PS at Derby.

Since you don't get charged for cancelling PS at the last minute, I would keep your existing plans.
