We will be taking our dd 5, to enight love it, can't wait!! I do not love the crowd that comes with Spectromagic though, So I am thinking of getting our wrist bands around 6 and them making a ressie for somewhere for dinner about 7:45 then when dinner is over we can just about start enight. We will also have my mom who has low vision and my sister with us, so I need someplace nice other than the C.P. we are already doing that.

Do you want a character meal? If so, then the Liberty Tree Tavern is good. The food is basic family style: turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, ham, carrots. You can look up the full menu on Deb's site at www.wdwig.com. The characters are dressed in colonial garb: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, etc. It's not over-the-top; we aren't all that into character meals, but this one is nice.

Also, there's Tony's Town Square, if you want Italian. We've been there once and really liked it, though it's been a few years.

For PS-type places, that's about it. For good counter service, there's Pinnochio's in Fantasy Land and Columbia House, which is near the Haunted Mansion.

we love love looooooove the liberty tree tavern!

if youre thinking counter service, pecos bills is the way to go.

Yes, I really agree with the other posters. The Liberty is the best choice in the MK for a charater meal and a good location for your situation.

For dinner at the MK with a PS my first two choices would be Cinderella's Royal Table and the Plaza Restaurant. Cinderella's is a very special setting with good food. It's not a character meal but you might run into Cinderella or the Fairy Godmother in the lobby. The Plaza is a pretty spot with very good sandwichs, salads and ice cream if you want a lighter dinner. Not a character meal either but you didn't mention wanting that??

My vote is CRT - the food & service are excellent and the atmosphere in very nice. Also, be certain to ask to use the elevator if your mom has problems seeing and may trip on the steps. Have a great trip.

Liberty tree is too heavy for a warm day. I like Tony's or the Castle. Tony's is relaxing, and kids love Cindy's.

If you are trying to get away from the spectromagic crowd I would pick CRT or Liberty Tree. The plaza is very good sandwhiches, but is located at the end of mainstreet, and will only take maybe 30-45 min to eat. You can take a bit longer at Liberty Tree with all the characters, and CRT would take a little longer as well. CRTs dinner prices are about 10$ more than their lunch prices, so depending on what your budget is you may want to look into the pricing.

Cinderella's Royal Table, Liberty Tree and the Crystal Palace have been great. Pooh and company are all at the Crystal Palace.

you could also make a ressie for O'Hana;s; get out of the park for awhile then go back for Enight. We did that once and it worked well.

Another vote for Liberty Tree Tavern.

The Plaza Restaurant would put you down Main Street towards Buzz and Space Mtn and across the hub from the other attractions if you dont't want to fight the crowds down Main Street and want a sit down restaurant. Good sandwiches and ice cream, too! Have fun!
