I did a brief search on here but didnt find anything...

Does anyone know if there is a shuttle company that will pick up from DW and go to the Port of Miami?

Right now our option is for a car rental but Id rather make it as simple as possible and a shared shuttle service seems like the best option if there is one?

I found a couple online but they dont pick up directly from Disney property and their times dont coincide with our departure cruise time.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about a shuttle but depending on the number of people a rental car is probably going to be cheaper. It is about a 4+ hour drive. You may want to see about airfare from MCO to MIA, I'm pretty sure you could get a shuttle from MIA to the Port of Miami.

I would check MCO to Ft. Lauderdale on Southwest.

Why not try to find a flight right to Miami?? I know that when the ex-dh flew from Boston to MCO, they connected in Miami. Must have been a much cheaper flight I guess.

Fly? You need transportation from Port to airport. Get to the airport about 2 hours before your flight. Maybe longer (or you have time to kill) depending on flight schedule and available fares. Flight time (45 minutes?). Another 30-90 minutes to get from MCO to WDW.

Renting a car is likely to be cheaper and faster. JMO but the only reason to skip renting a car is if you don't have a drivers license, are under 25 (price with the surcharges--still might make sense) or if you're from another country (England) and absolutely won't drive in the US.

I think the SW flights from FLL-MCO typically offer the best pricing. However consider the time and money to get from the port of Miami to FLL

Check with your cruise line. They may offer something.

I see I got it reversed you want to go from WDW to the Port of Miami. A rental car will still be more direct and probably cheaper.

Ed--If you're reading this thread. How long would it take to drive from WDW to the Port of Miami?

DME will pick you up 3 hours before your flight. An hour flight. Maybe another hour from FLL to the port.
