Can anyone offer Spectro parade advice?

We have two evenings planned in MK (other than MVMCP). We have dinner ADRs for 6:45 both evenings. Our first is Liberty Tree Tavern and the other is Cinderella's Castle. Since we won't be finished eating until almost parade time, can anyone give me some good tips or advice on getting a reasonable viewing spot that close to parade time? It will be Thanksgiving week so I'm not counting on scoring stellar seats but I would like the kids to be able to see.

Are there places near those restaurants that are ok?

You could just stand on the porch of LTT if it's not too crowded. Across the street from there is one of my favorite spots to watch from. The parade passes right in front of LTT.

You've managed to build-in a combination of factors that do not bode well for close-in parade-watching.

If you attend when MK is busy, even the less-popular "spots" are overloaded.
The only hope (and even that would be difficult to "hold") would be to stake-out a spot an hour before parade-time.

Please don't be the kind of "late-arrivers" (very popular here) who inform those who have been standing-in-place for over an hour (or two) that, "Hey, our KIDS need to see!".

For lesser crowd conditions in the off-season, we like to watch near the END of the SpectroMagic route (Frontierland, near the Splash Mountain "turn-off" (bridge). Usually find good spots near the "turkey leg vendor" and similar booths.
These are found at various entry-points along the "back path" (right adjacent to the "river") that allow you to traverse behind the crowds. You can NOT see any of the parade from this back-path, but they are designed to allow travel to and from SM and BTMRR during the parade "crush".

But for VIEWING the parade, when its "ON-season" every nook and cranny is overflowing with kids and grannies.

If you can find ANY spot along the parade route that is only 6, 8, 10 people "deep", enjoy the music and the upper sections of the rather tall floats.

The best place to watch Spectro is in front of the train station at the front of the park. (IMO) That way you beat the crowds going out, and there really aren't that many people watching the parade there.-And we were there Thanksgiving last year.

Be adivised the train station and the area in front of it are under rehab. Currently (not sure for how long) the parade comes out of the gate and immediatly turns down Main Street. It DOES NOT go around the town square area.
