Can anyone let me know if there's any glaring flaws in this first-timer plan?

Aren't you planning to see parades/fireworks/WOC?
Probably not. The fireworks probably won't be running during the week, and we're going to be way too tired to see anything Sunday night after the flight. We're early to bed on Disney trips and we're going to be at a 3-hour disadvantage as it is. I'm also just not too interested in them.

The Dis did a great video of the ten best rides at the Land not at WDW...I would go for all 10, except Matterhorn.

1. I would personally skip Roger Rabbit and Gadget coaster altogether. I didn't even know adults could ride Gadget! :)
2. Consider swapping a Mimi for a breakfast at a Disney hotel like at the GC Steakhouse 55, so you can "see" them too. With a 10 AM opening you'd have time.
3. If PTN is back by then, drop everything and do that! I can not emphasize this enough.
4. When are you using your early entry for Magic Morning? You have a 4 day ticket right? So you should be going to Disneyland on Tuesday for MM? Am I crazy?
5. Do the bakery "tour" on a busy day(it's a walk through w/ zero wait)
6. Do the castle walk through for sure.
7. Definitely eat at the Plaza Inn Definitely.
8. That seems like a bad time for pirates, I'd make it a morning ride or very late, someone else may know better.
9. Eat at Flo V-8, even if you just order one child's breakfast meal for snack to share and most importantly eat it outside.
10. Avoid Mickey's wheel of death at all costs.
11. The Little Mermaid ride is way cute! So is Monsters inc! Put them on your list.
Overall.... you did well.. I like it :)

PS if PTN is back, I am serious, do it!!!

Thanks! Comments:
1. We're probably gonna skip GG at this point. But I want to do RR for sure- we're fans of the movie.
2. Was considering doing a breakfast at Plaza Inn one day. I dunno about Steakhouse 55 breakfast. Maybe. I am planning a dinner at Napa Rose so we'll see GCH.
3. Will consider. :)
4. Not using it was the plan. Was planning to do RD DCA that day since it's the only non-MM DCA day on the schedule.
5-6. Planning on it during down/filler time.
7. Definitely doing at least one QS meal there. Gotta try the fried chicken.
8. Definitely will do it some other time if the waits are too long. We aren't planning on waiting in any long line if we can help it.
9. For the ambiance of Carsland?
10. Planning on it.
11. They are both on the list for the DCA day. I like Mermaid at MK so. :)

Thanks again!

2. Good idea!
4. Hmm I see your point about EM... but to not use a MM, this is a good question to throw out there, I anticipate some posters will be :scared1: LOL (DCA only has EM for hotel guests, no MM and Pop has more rooms then ALL Land hotels combined so I won't sweat it) maybe others can input on the pros and cons but I vote MM at DL by ALOT.
9. Yes and the back patio is a great escape from crowds.

You should have Halloween deco so it will be wonderful!!!!
I am excited for you!

Are you aware of the chef's counter at Napa Rose? It is amazing. If you are considering that you definitely need to book ahead. But it is a leisurely meal - if I remember correctly there is an early seating so you wouldn't have as late a night if you went for that.

And I second the advice to avoid Mickey's Wheel of Death! :(

Perhaps we will do the MM and then hop to DCA, especially since we don't have huge priorities there. If TSMM has a line when we get there, we can get a FP for it, then do CS and RSR single rider and come back to it.

I'm aware, but we have some food allergies and overall pickiness, so I'm thinking we should just go with the main menu.

If you have food allergies and overall pickiness, Chef's Counter is actually a great choice. They do an awesome job of catering to whatever you want (or don't want or can't have).

I'll have to think about it and ask my husband which he'd prefer. :) Thanks!

Looks like I'd need to call to reserve it- not seeing it at all on the DL site.

My only advice is to NOT get stuck on your times / the clock. Having a general idea of what you want to get done is great but having a schedule down to the minute is not practical. Rides break down, potty breaks happen, etc.

Agreed, and I don't!! In fact, even though I have detailed plans for every day of my WDW trips, they are almost always changed on the fly. :) I just like trying to work things through ahead of time. I think it actually helps quite a bit even if plans change because I have the knowledge on how to successfully work around any changes.
