I was it probably 30 years ago as a kid and even then it was probably not new. There was a woman in a house and she was hearing noises in the basement. She kept hearing things in the house too. There were these little evil troll like creatures living in the basement. They had little knives. At one point I remember they tied her up, were stabbing her with knives and a whole bunch of them carried her into the basement. I remember it scaring the heck out of me as a kid.

Nope, sorry, but it sounds very much like this strange reoccurring nightmare I had as a kid. That oompa loompas were in my washing machine and dryer in my basement and they were trying to lock me in the dryer, all the while singing "Oompa Loompa, doopadee dah...."
:scared1:

I recall this as well - cant remeber the name, maybe Troll or Leprecauhn- BUT if your looky for a cheesy horror classic try Toxic Avenger

Oh my God, I remember that movie! I was terrified when I saw it and had nightmares forever. Isn't it the same movie where the woman locked herself in the bathroom and the troll things were trying to break the door down? :scared1:
I also vaguely remember the troll things chanting something or saying something.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark:scared1:

Saaaaalllllllyyyyyy:scared1:

this movie gave me nightmares for a long time. I remember the part where the decorator died. I remember all the whispering and the woman thinking she sees things. I also remember her taking down a brick wall. I want to see the original now. I wonder if it's on netflix

It's not on Netflix but you can order it from the WB shop. I had ordered this one for my dad and we watched it last year. It was one of those movies that freaked me out as a kid but it was ok as an adult - LOL Now the trailer for the remake is pretty scary . I'll have to check that one out when it comes out.

That reminds me of trilogy of terror. Does anyone remember that? They had the one story with the little african voodoo dolls chasing Karen Black around. :scared:

I have to laugh, I just started to read your post (OP) and thought that there was a movie that scared me for years. Sure enough, Trilogy of terror. Didnt the lady throw the little guy in the oven? :lmao:It's been a while!

Yes, she did throw it in the oven! I remember that one too, also scared the heck out of me!

Oh my gosh!! I was telling my son about this movie the other day. Didn't the thing make this ungodly chant? Can you imagine if they redid this movie in
3D? :scared1::scared1::scared1:
