I've gotten ahold of a Tektronix Phaser 560 that is in great shape, but when it prints, the images has a 'ghost' of the previous image still on the page. It doesn't rub off, and isn't an exact copy of the previous image, but enough that you can tell it's there.

The fuser and fuser roller were just replaced and the Imaging unit indicates 24% remaining. I'm hoping it's not the imaging unit, but really don't know. I can't find any references to this kind of problem...

dumb question - you don't have a really high gloss paper do you? Just kinda sounds like the paper isn't obsorbing all of the ink.

I don't know though - I have an Epson here at work but have never encountered that issue.

I'm not familair with the Tektronix, but in general 'ghosting' can be caused by a dirty or bad primary charge roller (PCR). I'd check in your manaul if the Tektronix has a PCR. If so, that MAY be the answer.....

This is just using regular laser paper. I haven't tried the glossy paper yet, but would assume that it would do the same thing.

Pat, I'll look to see if it has a PCR. Don't know. :)
