Can anyone help me please I am trying to get black stains out of DH's footy shirt it looks almost like mould i have tried every thing but nothing is getting it out has anyone got any ideas?

I managed to get charcoal on my bedding (don't ask) and soaking it in shout plus washing on 50 did the trick.

Sorry, I wish I could be of help, but I'm not very domesticated ;) I hope someone is able to help you

If the shirt is white, try bleach. I had chocolate on my England rugby shirt that no stain remover would get rid of. After researching I put a bit of domestos bleach on a cotton bud & it removed it. The shirt is as good as new

Believe me, I was wary about doing it too as my rugby shirt wasn't cheap but I had read many suggestions on the internet I gave it a try. Just remember to put a little bit on with a cotton bud, don't sock the whole shirt. Also try & wash it straight away to get rid of any bleach.

Let me know how you get on

I jave done that as well - make sure you use sparingly though.

Have you used Stain Devils ? You can pick them up in the supermarket and usually work :confused3

Yes i have tried a couple but they haven't worked. I have just put the stained area in the bowl put a scoop of washing powder in and covered it in boiling water to see what happens.

Hey the boiling water and bio washing powder has worked i didn't get the transfer wet just the plain white areas so the water temperature hasn't done any harm. Thanks for the help guys:thumbsup2
