Can anyone help with info on a pool??

I am planning to get a small pool sometime soon. I want to get one of the ones with the blow up ring at the top(12ft*36in). Does anyone have one of these that can offer any advice? How does the filter work?Do you keep it plugged in all the time?Where do you have it plugged in? I would really like to get some more info before I buy it.

I have the 18 ft. one and we love it. It was pretty easy to set up, too. We plug the filter in in the morning, and unplug it at night. We have an extension cord running from an outlet in our garage and that is where it is plugged in at. The filter works great. Never had a problem with it.

Thanks for the quick response Dizneenut! Do you have to leave it plugged in all day? I have no access to outlets outside and would have to run a cord from the cellar. I think I would be worried about the kids being all wet and being near it.

out from storage....we had a great summer last year with it.....easy to maintain.....just test it at the same time each day and never had a problem.......the filter works great.....hubby would take it out each week to clean it...by hosing it down.....you do not have to replace it all the time......we used the 3 inch cholrine tablets and they worked fine.....I hope we have a hot summer again........have fun with yours too

What kind of filter do you use? We have a sand filter and last year it crapped out on us and we can't figure out why. I'm thinking of replacing it, but I'm curious what kind people have had success with. Thanks!!

No, the filter doesn't have to be plugged in all day. There were alot of days that we would plug it in in the morning, the boys would swim, and we would unplug it until they were ready to swim again later in the day.

We have one of those pools. They're great. We bought a cheap timer ($4 or $5). I have it set to go on for about 2 hours in the AM and 2 hours in the PM. Haven't had any problems with the filter. The hardest part about setting it up was getting the ground level.
