We are going to WDW for our honeymoon in July and have just been reading up on the 'just married' pins you can get. However, it says they have been discontinued and they are running out.

I wonder if any kind person would be able to pick us some up on their trip between now and June and post them to us on their return. I really want our trip to be extra extra special! Obviously I would be happy to pay p&p and a thank you

Posters on previous threads have said it's best to buy off ebay or somewhere as they are already discontinued in the parks.

You are not guarenteed to have anything special if you where the pins, we got married there in 2008 and had the pins and the hats and some things good happened and other times nothing

Please dont go there expecting anything as you may be disappointed, we also had tshirts printed to wear so there are bits you can do to draw the attention without the pins

I dont think she mentioned wanting any special treatments tiggs. We ( my now ex)Got married and had the old top hat and minnie headband and the pins and had many people congratulate us which was lovely. Didnt expect anymore. Trouble is anyone can buy the hats and cld go and ask for the pins just inhope I think to get extra attention. It spoils it for those who genuinley are celebrating their wedding/ honeymoon.anyone can go and get a celebration badge /birthday etc. It was my 40th last year and only wore my badge for 2 days . There are only so many fairy cakes one can eat. This year our girls bdays are 3 days apart one whilst there and neither know we are going this year. The 5 year old never been before. I hv put it on the reservation its their birthday trip but only our first 5 nights.
Anyway back to the OP. I will hv a look and see if i can find the badges. If i hv 2 i will send you 1 as I would like to keep one as they are no longer availible

We had some lovely times when we had the hats and pins etc but not everyone gets the same thats all i was advising really

Esp as its a honeymoon dont want them to ge there and be disappointed

i second the t-shirt suggestion!!

we had matching t-shirts on our last trip and it really made it fun!! (relating to the kids weddings - all 6 of us wore matching wedding related shirts)..

you could make up a few matching sets of t-shirts (so you can wear a different one each day, until you have a chance to wash them)..

there are lots of cute ideas you can find online...

Seriously, no more pins?? I've had cast members tell me every time I call to get DBF a first visit pin. My friend just came back from Disney last month and her and her DBF got "Just Engaged" pins. You guys have no idea how disappointed I am! What do you recommend OP and I do? I can't speak for OP but my trip is in less than 2 weeks! Will guest services still have any? Is it worth calling ahead?

Tiggs - don't expect special treatment, it is our honeymoon and want to make it special, I think a few congratulations would be lovely (already had quite a few when phoning up)!

Becca, i didnt mean anything by it, just saying thats all, when i got married alot were saying how much free stuff they got amd this and that happened and when we got married there and honeymooned we didnt get half as much so didnt want you to get your hopes up etc. most people comgratulated us only grumpy ones didnt

i had the kids listed as honeymooners for all of our ADRs, but interestingly, out of 14 TS meals, i think they were brought cupcakes only 3 times...

as for the t-shirts - they generated a LOT of congratulations from everyone walking by...

I was in a thrift store near my home today and they had some I will call in tomorrow and see what sort of condition they were in and if they're ok I'll get them for you -I think they had 4 .
