Can anyone help us hit it right?

We have flights booked from Boise to visit DL Oct. 2-5. After hearing about Miley's 16th b-day, we're reconsidering. Crowds are our biggest concern. We're thinking about Nov. 6th-9th. Will the pirates ride be shut down then or is it a nasty rumor? When do they decorate for Christmas? It's not yet confirmed that Pirates will be down. It was on the refurb list, then removed, then some CM at Disney dining mentioned it to a poster here (but Dining CMs have been notoriously misinformed before ) now nobody's talking, so who knows? I've got an e-mail in to Disney about it, but haven't heard back yet.

However, Nov. 6th-9th looks good to me, because Fantasmic is supposed to be back up on the 6th! That would be worth it, IMO.

I haven't seen anything else major on the refurb list yet.

I think the decorations start going up the week after you're going, unless they put some up as they take Halloween ones down.
