I am in the US and am preparing a box to send to a friend in the UK. What items can I send that cannot be easily obtained there or are not there at all? Thank you for your help.

If its food then I know you cant easily get lucky charms here,unless willing to pay around £7 a box, thats how much they were a couple of yrs ago ($12)

Just food items spring to mind..is it just me that always thinks about food?
peanut butter MnMs (I wish i could get these easier)
marshmallow fluff
graham crackers
grape jelly
twinkies
twizzlers
taffy
milk duds

other than food not sure really, would have said mountain dew as well except I would imagine the risk of that exploding is not worth it

For me, it is all about the Root Beer!

McDonalds used to do it over here, but now you have to pay silly prices for imported cans. I know that Sainsburys do a version of it, but its not the same!

butterfingers and some of the betty crocker cake mixes/ frostings, we get a few mixes here but only the very basic stuff and it's never as nice

my son loves browsing the food bakery aisles in publix and walmart as the choices you have far exceed ours especially the frostings and fluffs in jars

myself i love those jars of peanut butter and jelly swirled together i'd be over the moon to find one of these in a package

IT IS!!!! My DH took this picture in our local Costco, you have been able to get it from BP garages, and small convenience stores since May, but now they have started doing it there too!

I agree, the Mountain Dew sold over here is nowhere near as nice as the US version. Ours is also an "energy" drink loaded up with tons of caffeine. I wish we'd get the regular US version

Some ideas (may depend on the area they are in)
Doritos, Fritos, Cheetos, Funyuns, Louisianna hot sauce, root beer barrels candy, anything peanut butter flavored, and Oreos. The chips are so light weight that they ship for very little and can be used as packing material. : ) Also, pancake mix and maple syrup. Hope these help. Judith

The "regular" US version contains HFCS which is illegal in the EU, hence why it tastes different. It contains only marginally more caffeine than the US version.

HFCS is not illegal in the EU. It's subject to a limited production quota but is not a banned substance.
