Can anyone help me with park hours?

We're going to WDW in December and I can find the days that each park has extra morning hours or extra evening hours, but I cannot find the actual times that the parks open and close. For example the calendars say that MGM has extra evening hours on 12/4. But what time does the park actually close then?? Is it simply one extra hour beyond the normal operating hours for that day? Also, if the extra hours are only for WDW resort guests, how do the non-resort stayers get flushed out for the extra hours at night?

The believe it's one extra hour in the morning and three extra hours in the evening.

So basicaly if the calandar says the MK is open 9-6, and it says it has an evening EMH that day, it is open 9-9.

I called the main Disney number and asked what the park hours were going to be for the day. Just to see if it was an early enty day or a late exit day, and they were able to tell me. I guess that it is subject to change...I hope that it's not too different. I guess that we'll see.

Is it just not known which days they're staying open three hours extra? It might be worth it to go for three hours, but wouldn't be for one, KWIM?

It should take you to the EMH page which will tell you which park is open for EMH on what days in December.

I have yet to hear of an evening EMH that wasn't three hours. You can pretty much assume that's what it'll be. Have fun!

To answer your earlier question: everyone who is a resort guest has to present their room key to a CM at the designated locations the evening of the EMH to get a wristband. You have to have a wristband to ride after closing.
