I'm creating a photo book and wanted a picture of the plaque at MK for the cover - the one that says "Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy". Unfortunately, the resolution of the picture I have is too low at 180.

I wonder if anyone has a picture that they would be willing to share with me?

I don't have one, but that sounds like a completely legit reason for you to make a spur of the moment visit to WDW! (Don't you just love Disboard logic :) )

I don't have one, but I can get you one from DL tomorrow if you would like.

yeah, i'm no help.. i shocked myself to realize i don't have it from WDW..

this is from DL, but it's cropped out of a much larger image (basically all of the tunnel).. so hold out for something better, but just in case..

:rotfl: yes, I love the Disboard logic! What's really sad is that it actually makes sense to me!!!

If master mason forgets, I'll be going in early July and will probably take a shot of it.

ktulu, I really appreciate that. Unfortunately, I'm trying to take advantage of a special that Kodak is running right now - 30% off if ordered by July 4th.

What really bugs me is that I remember thinking I wanted to take a shot of it myself when we were there and then I was just so excited to be there, I walked right on by!

Groucho, many thanks!
However, I can't seem to save it properly. I must be doing something wrong...

I clicked on your link, and saved to my hard drive, then opened it in PE, and I'm getting an error - both rulers are 0's the whole way across and down. When I checked the image size, it says resolution of 1, but the image size says 700 by 519 inches?! Am I doing something wrong?

The picture that's in the thread here is 700x519. The link takes you to that photo in my gallery. In the upper left, above the photo, there's a drop-down where you can select other resolutions. Pick the one you want (or click the full-size link) and then you can right-click and save the photo in the higher resolution.

PSE should have no problems with it, it's a standard JPG...

As for the DPI, that's irrelevant, you can print the photo any size you want, no matter what the DPI that's embedded into the JPG is. Photoshop can make it fairly confusing, with its attempts to reconcile pixels and inches; it might be easier to just print it with another program that won't make you jump through so many hoops just to print at a specific size.

I am back and took the picture at DL. PM me your email if you would like it.

I know I'm a little late, but here's one of the Disneyland sign in November 2004. I LOVED this pic and used it in my scrapbook and slideshow. In case anyone is interested, here it is:
