Here is the situation. DH and I decided today that we are going to take a Disney trip 1-2 times per year. Now that is great and all because I am a disney freak but here's the dilemma. Should we get an ap? I mean, if we wanted to go again it only be in march. Therefore, we could go late march one year and early march the next year to be able to use the ap pass more than once. Does that sound like a good idea? I really want to go sometime during super soap weekend as well. So I guess my question really is.....Is the AP worth it?

Thanks in advance for the help!!

yes!! not to mention the disney dining experience you will be able to purchase with it

go for it!!

DH and I bought AP last December 4, 2004. We went to WDW in April. We are going back in September and end of November-Dec. 4. It was worth it for us. Not to mention the discount that we saved on our rooms, Cirque and DDE.

Totally worth it, and spoken from experience!! Just be careful because 2 trips a year can turn into four.... ;)

Last year we decieded to get AP's because we had 2 trips planned that were about 15 days. Yep they are bad I turned them into 35 days. Also bought DVC, now I cant stop, what to do, what to do??

I know what you mean. We were only going to go this past March but now we are going march of 2006 and then after that we are going twice a year! LOL. We just decided that too! DH doesn't want to go more than once in 2006 because we are already going for two weeks but after that, we are going March 2007 and November 2007 for super soap weekend and that is how it will be every year after that!

The other option would be to get a 10 day pass with No exp and PH options, but seeing ur a Disney Freak and the extra benefits, a AP might be a good deal for you.

Is there a place to find out about the benefits of the AP? We are going for 2 weeks in march. march 07 will be one week and november will either be one or two weeks.

AP benefits can change year to year. Where did I hear that booking AP rooms was going to get more difficult?

Well we have decided to go with the AP pass. It only makes sense since next year we are going for two weeks and we can come and go as we please with the AP instead of being restricted to the 7 day pass I was going to buy. And then every year after that, we are going twice. March and then november. Depending on planning, I could get 3 trips out of one pass! Ain't bad if you ask me!

We are going to look into when we go down in March. It's a lot of money though to come up with all at once and that we don't have right now. We like renting a condo outside of the World though. It costs us anywhere between 350-475 a week for a condo. Not bad.
