Can anyone help? Looking for scooter rentals outside Disney

My MIL and FIL are FINALLY coming with us to WDW this November. MIL uses a cane.Her hips are real bad she can not walk very fast, or very far without needing a rest. She will need an ECV (? is that what they are called?) and she will need it to get around the resort. So renting it from the parks won't help.

Does anyone know if we can call around the Orlando area and rent one outside Disney? Would they deliver it to the Resort?

Any and ALL information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

If you check over on the DISabilities board, there is a lot of info on where to rent ECVs. good luck!

About the second or third listing in the "disABILITIES" forum is a "Disabilities FAQ" It gives a lot of information, including the names, phone numbers and web sites of several companies that handle rentals. Most of us there are very willing to answer questions that people have.

They always have our scooter there before we say we'll be in town. Do a search here on the word walker and you'll get other peoples great feedback I bet.
