Ghost is middle bottom. Woman bowing her head. But another lighter image of her to the right. She's not moving (blurry) while everything else is.

Taken with digital camera.
Probably post over on that thread because people are coming up with all types of explanations.

Yep...night scene mode, 2 second exposure, with flash fire. The flash illuminated the subject, then the 2 seconds exposed the background over the same spot she was standing after she moved off to the left. You can see the dark area just to her left where she moved off during the rest of the exposure.

No problem! I answered over there too - hopefully not offending anyone who likes the ghost theories and such. Ghost Hunters is a favorite show of mine - like them, I hope someday they do find proof...but I know a flash and long exposure when I see one. I've done shots like that myself, both on purpose and by accident in my early camera days!

Yeah, around here, we call that one really messed up attempt at a night portrait. I have had many that look similar, but they ended up in the digital trash can.

you should have kept them and sold them on some of those ghost tours, evidently from the interest on the other thread you could have retired a rich man. i may add a goofed up night shots, er i mean "paranormal" gallery to my online site:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl2: I don't mind offending the "believers" as I think lack of critical thinking is possibly the biggest problem affecting our country (and to the world, to varying degrees) of all... a simple application of "Occam's razor" would help here: What's more likely, that the photo (which is a bit of a blurry mess anyway) happened to catch someone walking by as the flash went off, or that is captured proof of life after death, throwing all the world's sciences and religions topsy-turvy? Most non-religious-believes don't believe in life after death, and most religions tend to believe that the dead go to a heaven-like place or are reincarnated, not wander around the Earth to occasionally and randomly be caught by a camera that is designed to catch the same light that our eyes can see. :teeth:

Ah yes...but since we know cameras can detect orbs, then they can also detect ghosts! ;)
