Have looked at the sticky at the top and still not really sure how they work?? Would probably go for the 'plus' option as I like the restaurant choices better. Having said that we've definately said Inventions at the DLH will be on our list next time and that doesn't appear on the list or on the 'upgrade' option.

We only tend to do one main meal a day - would it therefore be worth it for us esp if we want to do at least one restaurant (Inventions) that isn't on the list? Are children's vouchers cheaper? Presume they have a face value and then...

Do you have to pick off a particular menu or is it the whole menu - do you then pay the difference or something???

Confused, but it doesn't take much :rotfl:

At buffet restaurants, obviously you get the choice of the whole buffet, and if, for example, you have half board plus vouchers, and your restaurant of choice is on the half board premium list, you get the face value of your voucher off the total cost of the bill.
Inventions at the DLH is on the half board premium list, so you could use the face value of the half board plus towards the cost there.

At table restaurants, you can either eat from the half board plus set menu, or you can choose anything from the a la carte menu, and again use the half board plus face value to go towards the total bill.

Half board plus vouchers currently have a face value of 25 euros per adult, and 11 euros (I think) per child.

We only have one *proper* meal per day, and I saved a good 25% on our main meals by buying half board plus vouchers in advance.

I can heartily recommend the Cape Cod buffet at the Newport Bay Club too - this is on the half board plus list, and the food was excellent for adults and children :goodvibes .

We also found it really worth while having the plus vouchers. We didnt feel limited in where or what we could eat at all. Sometimes the voucher covered the full meal and at other times we paid the difference and never had a problem with this including Inventions

Thanks for the replies :thumbsup2 Hmm - they do seem to be the way to go if we go again (need to save our pennies hard though as the new spring/summer prices are a bit steep!) :scared1:

Sorry to butt-in on this thread, but I was wondering - if I got the standard half board vouchers, could I use them in ANY restaurant (obviously paying the extra over the face value) or are there only certain restaurants you can use them in?

Sorry, I'm a bit slow catching on to this one!! :rotfl:

You can use the standard HB vouchers in every table service restaurant in the park, the studios (that would be Rendezvous des Stars) and the onsite hotels. You can also use standard HB vouchers in the Village, in Annettes, Cafe Mickey, Billy Bobs, and the Steakhouse.
