Can anyone explain Expiring points? And I hate the RCI site!

So I have 74 banked points from last year (Feb UY) that will expire soon-- if I want to use them for a RCI booking it needs to be done by Sept. 30 and the booking has to be for a vacation before Jan 31 2014?

If I want to use them for a DVC booking I know the timeline is different, but what is it?

I don't think we'll get to WDW this year so I'm looking at RCI and it's taking me ages to find options for just 2-3 nights--the different search filters are filtering out too much so that some resorts that are an option don't come up. I did find a couple of possibles but I still hate the site! It's so hard to find anything!

Were they Feb 2012 points, banked into your Feb 2013 UY which expires at the end of Jan 2014?

You have some time left, see if a broker can find you a renter.

Can't hurt to try but the deal is subject to room inventory so I would get busy.
