I'm trying to decide on if I should keep my ADR here or to find another place to have dinner for the evening. It will be me, my DH and by then our 9 year old, almost 4 year old and baby will be 9 months. We aren't too big on seafood but eat some, just nothing out of shells or mussel thingies :rolleyes1

I read the buffet has ribs, sirloin or prime rib...Is it worth going to? We are just looking for a decent dinner to have outside of HS as that is the park we are going to be in for the day.

Anyone have pictures of the food there? Does anything stand out to you that you particularly enjoyed or disliked?

Thanks!!!

pictures of the buffet. Also, like you I eat some seafood but not mussels or clams and I felt there was plenty to eat. Good kids section, I personally found the food to be fresh and in constant rotation nothing sat more then 20 minutes if anything was left at all. Hope this helps.
Is very good place to eat and has a childrens food bar also. They serve all kinds of meats and chicken and ribs along with fish and clams and oysters. On Friday they have Tilopia and I never liked it until I tried it at cape May. Service has been great and friendly

We love Cape May it's a must do for us....we are seafood eaters though. My youngest will only eat shrimp so she is more interested in the other foods that they have. There are plenty of other options that will please everyone. They also have a nice salad bar.

Cape May is our all around best pick. They offer excellent, fresh food. Terrific service and atmosphere. We often eat there more than once per vacation and can't wait to return.

One of our must do's :thumbsup2 The seafood is always yummy and fresh. Everything else is really yummy too. You should definitely keep this one.

Thanks everyone!! I think we are going to keep this one :) Just needed a bit of reassurance!

It's a must-do for us each and every trip. This past May we had dinner there twice during our 9-night stay. We love it!! :thumbsup2

This is a must do for us every trip!!

On our last trip we had DS(7) with us who developed a shellfish allergy a few years ago. One of the chefs actually came out and walked the entire buffet with DH going over everything that was safe for DS to eat. I was extremely impressed by the service here. The food is also fantastic!! DS had plenty to eat as their are plenty of non shellfish options.

DH eats no seafood and I only eat clam chowder... we went here for the first time last week. We enjoyed it quite a bit. Good layout, good food, good service... and I fell in :lovestruc with their oreo dessert!

Just how to get there on time. After fantasmic, it's already 7pm. Getting to Beach club takes forever, right? the slow boat.

and after dinner, how do you get back to TTC?

We're going in October and I hear they have awesome nuggets, are they chicken or fish? My DS eats only chicken nuggets. Do they also have french fries? ;)

Does anyone know if the ribs are pork or beef? My DD is allergic to beef.

The nuggets on the kids buffet are chicken. There is a fried fish kind of nugget over on the seafood side.

No french fries, sorry.

If he eats pizza, their cheese pizza actually almost passes as good. I swear it's different/better than the standard stuff all over WDW.

I'm 99% that they're pork. And they were delicious a couple weeks ago - meat easily falling off the bone.

Glad to hear about the chicken nuggetts. Too bad about the french fries though. I'm sure there is plenty for him to substitute.

Thanks again. :thumbsup2

You could walk but that would probably take about 25 minutes.

Getting back to the TTC, if EPCOT is still open and you have a park hopper you could walk from the Beach Club and go through EPCOT to the monorail or you can take the bus to the MK and take the monorail to the TTC. The transportation board may have other suggestions.

Oh man I am so looking forward to dining here! Ribs, clams, crab legs, what more could you want? :D

I was trying to decide about eating here. Now I think I will! Thanks for convincing me everyone!
