Can anyone answer my CR questions?

I just booked the standard garden view room....do these have balconies? How are the room sizes compared to WL? It has two queens and a daybed so automatically I assume it will be larger.

Also how are the pools for little ones?

The first floor has a patio but the rooms above do not have balconies. The rooms are more spacious than WL. Here is a link to a fact sheet about CR.

None of the wing rooms have balconies. (There may be a few suites at the very end who have some, not sure abt those.) The 1st floor rooms have patio's.

Both the rooms and bathrooms are larger than WL's. The bathrooms are nice, toilet & vanity area w/ mirror and plugs in room off bathroom. Early risers can dress w/out waking the rest of the room.

No, you will be in one of the 3 story "wings" off to the side.

does anyone have a pic of where these rooms are? I guess I am picturing the buildings off to the left (from the guard station) when you drive up....

when you check in do you leave that building to go to the standard rooms?

In looking at the All Ears pics - I would enter into the Garden wing north building - not the main bldg where you enter to go to the restaurants....

AFAIK, all the rooms are the same at the CR except for the suites and the concierge floor.

You can enter the North Wing from doors in the middle near the parking lot, or at the end near the MK or at the other end near the Food & Fun Center. You need to walk outside, but I think the walk is covered between the tower and the garden wings.

I've asked about the pool at the CR before when considering it and I believe folks said there is NOT a baby pool. They have a spash area with squirting fountains but no real baby pool. I have a boy that just turned 3 so the big pool is too big and he doesn't like splash fountains yet so this is a big turn-off for me. However I think the location - being able to WALK to the MK is a big plus (I like the thought of that even more than being on the monorail like to the Poly). The Poly has a better pool for little ones though I'd think.

I have a boy that just turned 3 so the big pool is too big and he doesn't like splash fountains yet so this is a big turn-off for me.

{{shrug}} My daughter started swimming lessons at barely 3 at the local YMCA. She couldn't touch the bottom of the pool. Went we went the summer before (and until she was almost 4) I made sure she wore one of the free lifevests.

She's now 5 and on the swim team!

We are staying in the garden wing in March. The walk between the North Wing, where we HOPE to stay, and the main building is something like 3 minutes tops. It's also closer to the MK walkway. My kids usually swim with us in the big pool anyway, so we don't really mind not having a baby pool. They do have free life jackets, so that helps.
