I have been online for days, trying to figure out the best and most economical way to visit the park in July. We're only staying one night and we're a family of five (two 40-somethings, 18, 14 and 6).

I'm having trouble with the Disney sites, and many times I get error messages of "your session has timed out" especially when I go on the .fr site or ones for other countries.

Has anyone else from the US done this recently and can tell me the best way to find the best deal? I've searched the Disney sites, third party sites (like voyage-prive, expedia etc) and have been searching message boards. I'd really hate to book something and then find out that I could've saved alot doing it a different way.

Thank you!!

If you clear your cookies it should work on the .fr site. .ie and .co.UK are also worth a look. Hope this helps.

The US site is often more expensive. The French site has great deals and so does the UK site, but we this time got the best through the Swedish site which is in English. Keep trying. We had similar problems bunch of times, especially when we used Chrome.

I am having issues booking my trip to Disneyland Paris as well. I am just looking for 2 nights at a Disney hotel for June 1-3 for one person. I am looking at the cheapest onsite resorts (Cheyenne, Santa Fe) and while they advertise nightly rates of well under $100, I am getting only package prices at close to $700.

Is that really what it is going to cost me? Why can't I book the 2 nights as hotel only and then buy park passes separately? Am I missing something? I tried the websites for Sweden and other locales but they won't allow me to input a US address.

They sure don't make it easy to book from the US.

Any help is appreciated. :wizard::cheer2:

don't change the country to US when you are on another country's version of the DLP site - leave it at Sweden or wherever.

where are you seeing the Cheyenne or Santa Fe advertised for June for under 100 dollars? Those prices are usually only available for midweek dates in the period November through to March each year.

In the reservation booking process, Sweden was auto-filled as the home country and could not be changed.

The prices I saw (actually starting from $69), were not specific to those dates. In fact, there is nowhere that I can find a list of hotel rates by date, as you can on the US Disney sites. The Disneyland Paris site is certainly less cohesive and not as user friendly as what I am used to for WDW and Disneyland in Anaheim.

DLP doesn't sell its onsite rooms in the same way as WDW and Anaheim - it promotes packages (ie hotel and park tickets included) and discounts those. Generally it doesn't sell room only at any kind of discount - and the rack rate for DLP Santa Fe and Cheyenne rooms starts at around 130 euros per room per night in low season - usually Expedia and ebookers get an allocation of onsite room only and sell them cheaper than Disney does - but only for winter dates, not for June I'm afraid.

Thanks so much for the quick replies. I am going to see if AAA can get me a better rate, otherwise I will book what I found, as the price (for 2 nights, park tickets and some food) seems to be in line with what the room rate looks to be at that time of year.

Thanks again, DLPdaft. My family has been to Disneland Paris before but always stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club there, so we've never dealt with the Disney hotels in Paris. Thanks.
