Can adults order from the Kid's Menu

I have a very picky husband (make's it easy for me to cook for him). Anyways, when I pull up a lot of the meal options at some of the place's i've made reservations for, I don't think my husband will eat any of it. But he would probably like the kid meals, but the menu says for age 9 or younger. We will have 2 kids with us. So would they let him order from the kid's menu? I wouldn't put it past my husband to just order dessert

Probably, and some restaurants may serve an adult portion of a choice from the children's menu for a price. However, also consider what you could do to adjust a meal to his liking. There is almost always a steak with a sauce that could be held or a chicken breast with sides that could be swapped for something else.

CS will be a non-issue but TS might be a bit of an issue. A standard kids meal with not be enough food for a grown man. Many
will work with you and do a simple pasta dish or a plain breast and rice or maybe even an adult size of a kids meal. He could also do an appetizer or two and a dessert (or two )

Are you on the dining plan? If so, then chances are they won't let him order from the kids menu. If you're paying OOP, then chances are good that they will.

Definitely at CS. Most TS places allowed us to order kids menu. We found that if you are on the dining plan they will usually try to convince you not too since it is not a great value to use the points for a kids meal, but DW was able to order whenever we wanted on our last trip. It used to be more of an issue in the past. The last few years, we have ordered off the kids menu at times without any issues.

You may have a problem at non-Disney owned places. I know there are a couple at Epcot that will not let adults order off the kids menus, but right off the top of my head I can't remember them.
