can adults buy kid's meals..

We have this on many occasions. In the crush of customers, it is hard for them to check. You could have a family sitting at a table for all they know.
Some of those kids meals are very good.

We have done it on occasion... I am small and cannot eat a big meal and my uncle has severe food allergies and sometimes the kids menu is the safest thing for him....

At a Table Service restaurant? Do you order off the children's menu at a sit-down restaurant at home? If not why would you do it at WDW?

good to know!

i have ordered off child's menus many times at table service restraunts...some menus are for 12 and under only and some are not....many places will sell the child entree to an adult but make the adult pay extra for their drink when the drink would normally be included if the child was ordering the same meal. i don't mind paying extra for my drink. i also have specific food restrictions and sometimes the child's menu is better for me.

specifically i was wondering about a place such as CG that serves many courses...i thought the child salad (which is sorta plain, the way i eat salad) would be more of what i would want for a salad....so i wanted to get an adult flatbread and a child salad and then an entree (either child or adult)
