Can a Xbox360 play this Xbox NHL hockey 06 game??

Hi,


I thought I would ask this question on this particulaur board. I bought my son an Xbox NHL 06 game cartridge. Not sure if his 360 would play it or not. My son is doubtful.

Can anyone help?

According to the official list, it won't play. It's too recent. The 360 itself came out in late 2005... which is when NHL 2006 would have come out. So... no. However, they may add support - in like a year or two. Since they just added support for NHL 05... >_<

Oh and since taz just quit, crazytp93 and I are pretty much the only guys on the TB. So next time you might be better off asking somewhere else.

Depends which edition of Madden. It's not fully backwards compatible.

Usually only ones that were made before 2005, which is when the 360 came out.

You're right about that, the Dis is pretty much female dominated. There used to be a lot more guys, but they have all left. It's all good though. And you think 360 is the worst? Which is the best in your opinion? I am a PS3 fan myself.

PS3 and Wii are sort of tied, but I really personally prefer the PS3. In my house... We use the 360 only to play HD-DVD movies, which have just essentially lost the HD format war xD... we all play the Wii together, and I play the PS3. I love Warhawk and Uncharted, as well as skate and Rock Band. I have Rock Band on the PS3 and Guitar Heros 2 and 3 on the 360. I prefer Rock Band...

My big problem with the 360 is its focus on M-Rated titles and its huge focus on online games. The 360 is the only console that I have that is not connected to the Internet, and my parents intend to keep it that way.

I hate how the PS3 gets the "no-games" label. It may not have lots of quantity, but for the most part, what's there has a ridiculous amount of quality. After playing Uncharted, I feel that the 360 looks terrible. Of course, the Wii is in a completely different league than the 360 and PS3 and therefore I have no qualms about its graphics.

So I'm a Sony fan first and a Nintendo fan second.
