Can a solo traveller be picked for something like "First Family"?

I know when they open the parks, they pick a family to open it. Have they ever picked someone who was alone for this? I also heard that people get picked to stay in the suite in Cinderella's Castle? Is there anything that someone going solo can get picked for?
