Can 4 adults in one room get free DDP?

Hi Everyone,

The thread title says it all. We're trying to keep costs to a minimum and were wondering if all 4 of us can get the free DDP if we're all staying in the same room.

Not trying to be sneaky and use kids DDP. Just want to know if we can legitimately do this and keep everything on the up and up.

Yes, you can.

Do be aware that there is a modest surcharge on top of the room rate for each adult in a room beyond the first two. (That's not a Dining Plan issue; it is the case regardless of whether you're on the Dining Plan or not; free or not.)

No worries about this either as everyone has to be at check in together to get the free DDP so it will be obvious to the CMs that it is all adults checking in the same room, no kids.

Everyone has to be on the same package also = tickets, etc. The extra adult room charge depends on the resort - values are an additional +$10 per extra adult per night, moderates +$15 per extra adult per night, deluxes +$25 per extra adult per night.

This is the second year we're doing a 'Girls' free dining trip'. Us 'Girls' ' are 40somethings , we go without kids or husbands. We are on a very low budget trip, SouthWest tickets $224.00 (round trip from California ) , value resort 10 days, 1 day passes, 4 ways $360.61, (yes all 4 in 1 room , we had no problems), free dining , free magic express and buses. For tickets everyone did their own thing using or saving 1 day pass (1 had annual pass, 1 upgrading to annual pass, 2 upgrading to 10 day hoppers) We have the best time with no guilt. I highly recommend to Mom's everywhere. You're worth it !

What happens if one of the adults is arriving later? We have three adults and two kids and one of the adults will arrive later. We know that we have to get the dining plan for all, but she will not be at our check-in?

You'll need to clear that with the hotel in advance -- be sure to get it in writing on letterhead.

When the last guest arrives, he/she will need to check-in, and show id to get their KTTW card, which will then have DDP privelages on it. This avoids people from booking "phantom" guest just to get the dining plan.
