I had same issue as you and tried many suggestions listed above. I ended up booking a new reservation and then cancelling old one. Not really ideal, but it was the quickest/easiest way I could "change" my reservation.

That’s what I was thinking. Hate to have to get a credit card credit to go through for no reason. Probably what I’ll do. I’ve tried all the usual fixes. We did that once before too. That might be the thing that works best for OP. I've never had any luck with modifying anything on the Disney website.

I used to have this problem. For over a year, maybe even 2, every time I clicked Change Reservation, it just reloaded the page. I tried to work with tech support to figure it out but hit nothing but brick walls so I just lived with it.Trying to modify my reservation online. Having no luck. Click the modify button and the page just reloads. Any suggestions? Don’t want to call and incur long distance charges.
I suspect you are right. My account is for eight people, many of whom have 75+ trips under our belts. I’m just going to leave the reservation. I’m heading down in August and just hope my account works. New Fastpass day coming August 3. I guess I need to call tech support and get a new account built.I used to have this problem. It was the first of many issues that finally ended with them having to build me and entirely new MDE account.
Now that I have a brand new MDE account, I can change reservations fine.
Sorry that isn't the answer anyone wants to hear. Just can say that I feel the pain and sadly, never found an answer till my account completely glitched up and became useless. The fact that my ability to change reservations returned with the new account makes me believe it has something to do with the beginnings of the account starting the data overload that killed my old one.
Mine doesn’t even say they are unable to process. I’ll keep trying. If it doesn’t work, I’ll stay put. I refuse to pay like no distance charges and I don’t like the idea of cancelling either because of needing to wait on a credit. Crazy Disney IT strikes again. This should not be difficult.I had this problem a few days ago. It kept telling me they were unable to process the change and try later or call. Using incognito browsing worked for me. In this instance I refused to cancel and rebook because I was modifying a reservation I made before resort parking fees were put in place. And I will not be paying them, so it was necessary to keep this reservation number.

This is a reservation through Disney, not dvc.Member website has an active notification explaining the glitch is temporary. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Calling will do plenty to change your reservation.Having NEVER found a solid definition for the term "Glitch", when applied to a computer system...
GLITCH - an often used, poorly defined excuse for POOR PROGRAMMING. See "Escape Hatch", "Dodge", "Excuse", "Outright Lie".
SOLUTION: Call Call Call Call...
