Campus Rep

Okay, I know there are a few threads about campus rep already, lol. But what I am wondering is if any of you who have applied for the Fall recruiting season have heard back from them yet. I am hoping that since I applied really early they haven't forgotten about me. I applied i think at the end of March, and alumni applications weren't due until july! it was because the current/now graduated reps at my school thought I had to apply by the first deadline for current cp's. I did hear from Disney after they got my application saying they recieved it and they would start reviewing it in June, and that I'd hear from them in the middle of July(now). I know my school is in dire need of reps because all but maybe one graduated.
Anyone else waiting to hear back from them? Do they call you or email you? I am just a little anxious can you tell?

let us know if you ever get a response! i am amazed they haven't emailed back yet...usually they are good about getting responses out fast!

Yeah, I was told the middle of july was when they would start to do interviews, and I know from reading around that usually you find out if you were accepted for campus rep by about two weeks before school/recruiting season starts.

I heard on the Spring Advantage CP group on facebook that where suppose to hear by July 29th and if we don't were suppose to call them

I got an email from the recruiter from my school saying that there were no open positions at my school for this fall.

good to know! thank you! I hope they get back to us instead of us having to call them, because they will probably be getting a lot of phone calls!

I'm so sorry! That's not cool! You could try for next recruiting season right? maybe one of the reps will graduate?

I know for a fact there are open positions at my school because all but one of the reps graduated. We had an alumni party and they sat and told me over and over to apply for rep. I also know the girl who is the main rep now at my school, and before the applications were due for spring advantage and alumni, she was on the cp fb page she put a comment telling anyone who was from utah state to apply for campus rep. So I dont know whats taking them so long

Got an email saying they weren't doing anymore interviews and that they had lots of applicants. Im pretty bumbed. And I almost don't like that they said they would keep my application on hand in case a position opens up in November. I love Disney, but they are the masters at false hopes(though sometimes those hopes are real and I REALLY hope a position opens up for me!)
I decided it's probably a good thing I didn't get it this semester because I am going back to school after two years and need to get back in academic good standing. So...maybe next semester

This is a general perception that the reputed colleges provide good job opportunities. This is also true in many cases. There are companies which provide a cut off percentage to the college and hire those who have the higher percentage. But some companies conduct a session of interview and then choose a candidate. So all these depends upon the procedures which a college prefers.
