Campsite loop request question

Campers,
I know how the general loop request goes online (not guaranteed a certain loop) but I've got a situation that I'm not sure what can be done. Here's the situation: I've got a Preferred site reserved (first time!) and I'm meeting some friends who will be in a cabin. So I'll be assigned to loop 100, 200, or 300. I know there are two cabins in the 100 loop and those can't just be requested but I'm wondering if the Fort folks who do the site/cabin assignments would try to get the linked reservations close together using one of those cabins. I plan to call and ask but is there any realistic chance?

That's certainly worth a try. I've heard lots of stories about the 100 loop cabins being for VIP types only, but one time I was in the 100 loop, I was right across from the cabins, so... I asked the people coming out if they were famous, rich or on the Disney board. They just laughed. Said they were normal people from Indiana... It's then that I realized I was being taken... I've been to Indiana.

But seriously, the people we talked to staying there didn't request it and said they didn't have any connections or other reason to be assigned there. So I'd give them a call and see if its possible.

thanks! I figure nothing ventured, nothing gained. Glad to hear first hand knowledge that you don't have to be a VIP to get those cabins.
