I was told by a relative that if your camper was over 10 years they will not let you bring it in. I cant find this info anyware on Disney's site or any of the boards. When I made my reservations I told the rep. what I had and she didn't mention anything about it either. Thanks:confused:

they will let anything in. i think that was a rule from the late 70s early 80s. no homebuilts or no campers over 10 years old. those days are long gone. one halloween i saw a guy with a boat on a trailer. he was plugged in and sleeping in the boats cabin . pretty creative and i only saw it once. but they will let anything in now

We spent a week last October at Ft. Wilderness in our 1964 (maybe '66? I can't ever remember) Airstream. I was kind of worried about it but no one batted an eye :)

Some of the vintage camper are the most interesting and attract most lookers at the Fort. About the only places that enforce a 10 year rule are the exotic resort type campgrounds. Anything from tents to million dollar motorhomes from 1900 to 2012 are likely to be seen at the fort. Do you have a vintage model?

We have a 1983 Pace Arrow and have stayed at the fort many times. Personally, I like the vintage RV'S/campers. They have alot of character.

We're always drawn to the vintage campers when we go looping. We have a 1989 motorhome and it's always been more than welcome at the Fort!

We have seen two boats parked in sites at the Fort.
One was a small sail boat, all plugged up and in use.
The other was a small cabin type cruiser.

I was gonna bring my pontoon to camp on but the DW said she wasn't sleep'n on anything with a live well.:lmao:

Thanks for the replies everyone! I didn't think that was a rule anymore or if it ever was. My camper is kinda vintage its 1977 coachman cadet its all original and in really good shape. I have done some up grades and fixed a few water leaks:rolleyes:. The wife is making us new curtains and my girls are adding some fairy and princess decorations.

Yeah the boat had me laughing. I told the wife we should sell the camper and boat and just buy a big boat with a cabin. Use it for weekend trips to the Bahamas or the fort

1) There is no problem with age.
2) But, other problems can arise.
3) A guy didn't know what to do with the horses from his Conestoga.

Ours is Disney inside and out. It has been alot of fun renovating the MH. Do you have the princess television? We have the Mickey one. There is 1 in the front and 1 in the back. Tell the girls not to forget the fairy/princess fleece throws for a chilly night. When are you going to be at the fort? We will be there the end of September and December.

I have seen your camper on another camping forum its been an inspiration for ours! We will be at the fort November 27th to December 3rd the week after Thanksgiving.
