Camping and parking

We will likely be traveling in 2 vehicles to the campground in September of this year. Because we are 2 families staying in the same RV, is there room for more than one car to park? If not, what do we do with the extra vehicle? Thanks!

You can leave your car in the secondary (overflow) parking lot. Be sure to get a parking pass.

Okay does Disney only allow one vehicle per site ? Everyone knows you CAN use the overflow lot for cars and trailers and such. But do you have to ? Last time we went I had one vehicle an Expedition with third row seating. Now I have a crew cab truck so we must take the wife's car too because we are a family of seven.

I don't think it would be a problem, but it *must* be able to fit completely on your site, off edge of street. The cc roads are very narrow in the loops, and we have a hard time getting through or parking if any vehicle is not completely off the street.

Official rules say 1 vehicle per site. More than likely if you're in your own site no one will say anything.

I noticed this year there where a LOT of two cars per site. Granted a few where able to tuck in tight, but most had a car sitting right on the "line" of the loop and it definitely made the loop road pretty tight for any big rig.

The public website even states under parking, officially there is room for 1 vehicle at the campsite. If you must have 2 there, then be pilot and try not to make the loop road hard to drive past your site.

We would be very polite and get our vehicles well clear of the road. I reserved a premium site for the extra room. I'm just trying to plan ahead if we do have to take two cars. We generally don't do busses due to my handicapped DD. It's just easier to load her stuff in my truck and not hold up the bus on both ends. It would be a pain having to send the wife by bus or cart to the overflow lot every time to get her car.
