Two questions...

1) Is there another good quality campground near SeaWorld? We're thinking of staying a few nights at FW at WDW but then spending a day at SEaWorld and wondered if we might move our RV over there?

2) Any recommendations for a campground/rv site near Busch Gardens in Tampa?

I'm seeking info for my parents so all this rv stuff is entirely foreign to me. Thanks for any suggestions!

Seaworld is so close to FW that I wouldn't waste my time breaking camp and setting back up just to be (perhaps) a little closer. Plus you wouldn't be AT FW so you wouldn't be having any fun (can you tell what I prefer?)

No advice on the Tampa area--sorry.

There is alot of County & State Parks in the Tampa area, if that is what they prefer. Hillsborough River State Park, is very nice and is fairly close. A private Campground popular with snow birds and others, is Rally Park, owned by Lazy Days RV Center. We go to at least one Rally a year. Each campsite includes, free breakfast & lunch at Lazy Days, and a free paper. There is a free shuttle from the campground to Lazy Days. Some Rallies include a trip to BG. There's also a shuttle from the CG to BG. If they opt for a Rally, they will receive a Welcome Reception, 1 free dinner, and live entertainment after the dinner. There's a pool, hot tub, shuffle board, tennis, etc. For more info. on private campgrounds in the Tampa & Orlando areas look here www.floridacamping.com Let me know, if you have any more questions. :wave2:

Oh yeah, I forgot Orlando. The only one that we personally like, other than FW, is Tropical Palms. It is a little closer, and cheaper. We stay there when we're going to SW, but not WDW. We enjoy spending an evening at Old Town, which is within walking distance to TP. We're staying at FW for 10 nights next month, but doing things all over Orlando. We prefer not to have to move, but if they don't mind moving, they may want to consider this one. I've also heard about a County park near there, but unfortunately I don't remember much about it. Maybe someone else can fill us in. :)
