Campfire sing along- What time?

Does anyone know what time the sing a long starts? Does it happen every night?

We are staying at POP, what would be the easiest way to get to the campfire using Disney Transportation. Is it worth going to from POP?

I think it starts at 8:00PM in the summer. I'm not sure of the best way to get there from Pop, but you could take a bus to the MK, then a boat to FW. Then once your in FW, I think you have to take an internal bus to the campfire.

I haven't been to WDW in 3 years, but we stayed at POP last time and went to the Campfire singalong/movie night. We drove there from POP, so I won't be much help in letting you know how to get there, but previous poster is right. Make sure you allow plenty of time to get there.

And you asked if it is worth going to from POP - my answer is yes! It is free! My ex-DH and I went in 2003 and in 2005 and had a blast, even though we went without children (this was before DS was born). Chip & Dale make an appearance and it is just a really fun time.

How long is the campfire?

Just trying to figure out how late it will be before we get back to POP!

We went last year from Boardwalk. You need to transfer buses to the internal resort buses once at the resort. Make sure you check into that ahead of time because the bus drivers are no help at all. They looked at us like we had 3 heads when we asked about it.

Anyways, once there we thought it was totally not worth it. We brought stuff to make smores. There were 2 very small campfires and about 75 kids trying to get to them with their marshmallows. Pretty tight to get a stick in. It was buggy and the sing-a-long was not very good. We left early. Just our opinion. Others really liked it, but we would have had a better time seeing fireworks or staying at the park late that night instead. My two cents.
