Leaving on Thursday! We'll be at the Fort on Saturday!
Are the movies at the same time every night? What time is that?
Is the Chip/Dale campfire at the same time every night? What time would that be? Can we take our own marshmallows/sticks for the campfire?
One unrelated question... We have a "princess" with us this trip, and was wondering when we would get a chance to see an actual princess... Sleeping Beauty (Booty as Leah says it!) is her favorite. I know she would be in the big show at Magic Kingdom, but would love to see her in person!
Happy Camping!

Found this under FAQ's at the top of the forum:

The Fort Wilderness campfire program happens year round in the "theater under the stars" located in the Meadows recreation area. It is free of charge.
The program consists of a sing along with a very talented Disney cast members leading the fun. After a brief introduction, our friends Chip and Dale will make their way through the crowd for pictures, autographs and general harassment of the guests. The sing along starts at 8 during the summer followed by a movie (the list is always posted at the top of the thread list) at approximately 8:40. During the winter (after daylight savings time ends, this year on Nov 4th) the sing along starts at 7 and the movie around 7:40.

There are 2 fire pits that are lit just before the sing along begins. These are for roasting marshmallows, hot dogs and whatever else you may wish to roast.

You can bring your own snacks and drinks with you or purchase what you need.
popcorn, candy, drinks and S'more kits are available at the chuckwagon, individual wooden roasting sticks are available.

Wooden benches are provided along with bleachers at the back of the theater. A blanket or cushion is always a good idea. The area is covered in pea gravel to prevent it from being muddy.

The restrooms are about a 100 ft walk behind the chuckwagon, the comfort station at the 1400 loop is utilized.

Be ready to clap, sing and participate (like so many other Disney activities)

Please make sure and say "Howdy" to the cast members and tell them you are a Dis'er

Best place we've seen Sleeping Booty is at ToonTown in the MK. There are usually three princesses greeting visitors and signing autographs at all times. Other charaters are at various locations throughout the Parks. Somewhere I believe there is a map of character locations. We like the ones just beyond the Spaceship Earth in EPCOT and on the trails in AK. Others are anywhere...

Sounds like you may be one your first visit. If so, come and enjoy the Fort and the Parks. Say Howdy at any campsites sporting a green mickey sign or display.:banana:

As for Princess Aurora, you can usually find her in France in World Showcase at Epcot. She could also be a part of the Princesses that gather to sign in Magic Kingdom. This is currently in Toon Town, but will probably move once they start the Fantasyland expansion. Check when you get there for times.

Below are two links that can help with finding characters.

A seat cushion or something, as stated above is definately a good idea.

When my kids were small, I used to take an old sleeping bag (zipper was broken) and lay it out on the pea gravel in front near the screen. Then we would just lay back & watch the movie. It worked fine most nights, but other nights, unruly children would do nothing but run back & forth in front of the screen.

Yes, it will be our first time to stay at the Fort! We are very excited! There is alot to learn! Thanks for all the tips! And I had no idea that Sleeping Booty's name was Aurora! Leah is only 2, so she is just "getting into" all of this! Our boys are 8, and they didn't even "notice" the princesses! Is there a Green Mickey I can print out somewhere?
