Looking at the cartoon map of FW campground, it appears that many of the loops are cabins? Do any of you have a list of the loops and whats on or allowed on them? I have a pup.

It looks like 2000 - 2800 are cabins only loops?

I believe we will be reserving our site for next year next weekend and I heard you can request a certain loop. I believe we would rather be closer to the docks.

any insight or suggestions would be appreciated.

That would depend on what you are camping in? Tent? TT? MH? For a tent I like 1500, close to the Meadows and less noise/lights from the big rigs. For a TT or MH if its not too big, I like 200 or 300 for the proximity to the Settlement and how wooded the sites are.

2100 thru 2800 are cabin loops

1500 and 2000 are partial elec and water no sewer.

1600 thru 1900 are full

100 thru 300 are preferred

400 thru 1400 are premium

A pup can go on any Fort site.

The only restrictions are for 1500 and 2000, suppose to be tents and pups only.

I have a pup also. I usually stay in full hook-up in either the 1600 or 1700 loops. The sites are a bit larger and a bit more shade during the day/quieter at night, plus close to the pool for kids to walk over. But sometimes I go preferred in the 200 loop. Sites are smaller & at night there is more noise, but it is so close to 'the action' and perfect for when I'm not renting a golfcart or no kids in tow wanting to spend countless hours at the pool. Any way you go there really aren't any truly bad places except for the 1900 loop.
