Camper Rental for Fort Wilderness Campground

Not sure, but I'm pretty sure you are in violation of the posting guidelines for the forum.

I am sorry. Do you know where I would look to make sure I have not violated any rules??

Yep, rhonda is gonna be busy deleting this afternoon I think.

Hello - Can you direct me to the area where I would find posting rules? I am new to this forum and thought I was being helpful to would be campers. I certainly did not mean to break any rules. Thanks for your help!!

When you signed up, I believe you had to agree to the guidelines. One of them is that you cannot use the forums to promote your own business.

Thank you! Again, I did not realize I was breaking any rules. I have edited my thread to not include any of the previous information. Thanks for your help!!

You did not, however, edit any of your other posts. I gotta tell ya, there are some members of the forum getting a little irked.

Hello again! I got called away from the computer because I had to attend to my young children. I appreciate your help in letting me know that I had violated the posting rules, but I am not sure why you are being so mean to me. I honestly did not realize that I was breaking any rules. I have seen several posts where people have offered to rent their points to other members, as well as, tents, campers etc. I did not think I was breaking any rules by putting our website up on this thread (or the others). This is a very small thing we do on the side and it is not our main source of income. We truly do it to meet other campers and help other families. I am sorry if I offended you in some way. This was an honest mistake!!

Apology accepted.

I did bookmark your site though. So I guess I'm culpable.

Thank you for being so understanding!!! I am going through the process of deleting all my other posts. I truly apologize to all of you that I have offended. This was not intentional.

Me likes beer!

Now if you want to close this thread, I can do it...White Castles and Krystals.

That should do it.

Thanks for turning the thread to a more positive note!! I would appreciate you closing this thread. Thanks to all of you for your help and advice. I have used the forums to rent points before, but never to post about our camping experiences. I will have to keep watching the threads!
Thanks again!!

Well, now we're talking about beer so closing it may not be as easy as you think.

Good Point! I have to tell you - while deleting all my other entries - there are a few people that really laid into me. I certainly did not mean to create such a stir. I will make sure not to do it again!

Thanks again for all of your help! Do all of you go to Fort Wilderness often?? We just got back from camping this past weekend. The weather was so nice and the kids really had a great time.

Speaking of beer, I found out last weekend that I was in violation of Alabama state laws back in the 80's for homebrewing. I haven't done any homebrewing in years but I fell off my rocker when I was told about it. Turns out we can ferment 100 gallons of wine for personal consumption a year but there's only 6 states in the US that doesn't allow homebrewing and Alabama is one of them! Just did a little research and if anybody wants to know, here are the other states that were quoted:

In 1978 a U.S. federal law that allowed home winemaking after the end of Prohibition was amended to include homebrewing of beer. The law allows for up to 100 gallons annually per adult member of each household, with a maximum total of 200 gallons per household. Individual states also have passed laws specifically allowing homebrewing; as of January 2004, all but six (Alabama, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Utah) have done so. Even in those states there have been no active prosecutions of homebrewers; homebrew shops and clubs continue to operate openly and without interference except in a few cases on very specific issues such as competitions.

Home distillation (as opposed to fermentation) of alcohol is forbidden in the U.S. and all but a very few other countries.
