Alot depends if you are driving or flying? How many you plan to sleep in one area..also you do save money on food if you cook at the cabins or camper. We have a camper but if we only have a few days sometimes we will stay in a hotel. It depends what we are in the area for, if we have a week or more we camp. We try and do some meals in the camper. The pools are not themed at the campground if that is a biggie for your family. But the campgound is very relaxing and makes you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle. When we travel with extended family it makes it easier to stay on property, so that when some get done you can split and not all have to go back. Lots of stuff to think about. But hands down I say our families favorite is camping. You can always visit and do a meal at other resorts to get a feel for them. But the campground has good activites for families.
