SO i read on another site that they recommend taking a disposable waterproof camer to seaworld. What do you guys suggest?

I would also like to know what type of waterproof digital camera anyone would suggest. I don't want to spend a whole lot, but I would like to take something to Discovery Cove with us.

We this camera: Nikon COOLPIX AW100 16 MP CMOS earlier this year. My family like to hike on the Appalachian trail, and the drop-proof, water proof design was perfect for us. It's nice to slide a camera in your pocket and not worry about it on water rides, in splash zones, in afternoon rainstorms. As far as underwater, we used it at Discovery Cove:

Love this camera, but it is not cheap, nor is it disposable. We got it at Costco.

For the most part, unless its raining, you won't need a waterproof camera for Seaworld. There are some places where water is an issue (if you see in the splash zone at One Ocean, for example....and if you want to take photos while riding Journey to Atlantis) but the bulk of the park is "dry".

We just ordered one of these for our upcoming trip.....it will make our regular camera sufficiently water-proof for the waterparks and DC (we bought an inexpensive waterproof camera for our trip over New Years, but the photo quality was nothing to write home about):

Cost was under $40 for the case plus an accessory kit (tripod, etc.).

I bought this and you have to make sure you have the right size, the one I bought is too big for my little Cybershot but I see they have a new smaller sized one I'm planning to get. They have on Amazon for about $20.

I just bought a Nikon Coolpix S30 with my birthday money and took it to the pool yesterday for the kids to test. Takes GREAT pictures. I'm so excited for our DC trip next week. I bought it from Amazon for under $100 and went to Target yesterday to look for a case and saw the same camera for $119.

I'm considering the Panasonic Lumix TS20 for our trip - it's one of those waterproof ones (figured it would be great for DC! ) It's priced at $130 on Amazon. Anyone have this?
