I've had my D90 for about 18 months and I love it! Prior to purchase I had a huge dilemma as to whether to go with that, or with the D7000 and was eventually decided on the D90 because the 'extras' that the D7000 offered were at the time, not big selling points for me. However, having put some time and effort into trial and error and lots of reading (and questions!) I have since found how much I love low light/night photography. No, I'm not good at it, but I'm loving learning and wondered if the D7000 would suit me better at this stage. It is not really going to cost that much to upgrade if I sell the D90 and it's certainly very doable.

I'm sure the question of why I am not considering FF will arise on here and the simple answer is that I can't afford to lenses that are going to bring out the best in a full frame right now so it's not as simple as just purchasing another body.

As usual, all and any opinions and advice would be much appreciated

Thanks for that link. I had seen some info on it when it was announced but didn't know that so much detail had been compiled into a preview of what it had to offer. It does look very tempting and I guess there is no rush so I could wait it out.

The only thing I am not so sure about it getting a camera right after it's released. I kind of prefer to let other consumers test the product first so that any glitches can be ironed out before I get mine. Some food for thought for me I guess
