I have a Canon Digital Rebel xTi camera (think 35mm size, can change lenses). I have a camera backpack for my 4 lenses. But it is a pain to lug that around WDW. I can scale back to my camera with a small lens on it and a zoom lens to switch out. Does anyone have a recommendation for a small camera bag to carry? Anyone have a camera related experience to share?

I have a Pentax K100D. I use this case: http://www.beachcamera.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=DP4000

It hold the body, 18-55mm Lens, couple set of batteries and memory cards. I also carry a Pentax 50-200mm zoom. It does not fit in the case, but what I did was go to Ritz Camera and picked up a cheap, padded, little case for a small size camera. It fits my zoom perfectly and snaps onto one of the "d" rings on the holster case where the should strap attached. This makes it small, lightweight package the carries all I need. I would normally carry it in a handy position on the stroller and when we went on a ride I grabbed it and had no issues.

Lowepro Slingshot 100 - or even 200 if you want a bigger bag.

This bag is the BEST. It is a back pack, sling style that can slide to your front and side at your waist - opens easily to get the camera out, camera can be put back in really quickly, is fully protected, and even has a rain cover for the sporadic showers.

The extra space in the bag is great for another lens, or a flash. Then there are two other compartments for other stuff you might have to carry also.

I used my 100 and the 200 I had for my Nikon D100 with a 28-200 zoom, and my SB800 flash. I am downscaling equipment now to the D40X with a smaller zoom, but will keep my 100 as it's a great bag for the parks. I can't imagine toting a DSLR any other way.

Thanks to the both of you! I was going for a small bag, but now I'm headed to the local camera store to look at the Lowepro.

I knew this forum would come through.

Last time I was there I put the lenses in zip lock bags and when I didn't use hte camera put it in my padded bookbag. I used my laptop bag and the camera came back in one piece. :)

Just had to chime in with another alternative - the Crumpler bags are great for those that want to carry a camera but look like they are carrying a camera...I have the "3 million $ home" (that's the model name) and it fits my D40x perfectly. There's a 4 million, 5 million, etc for those with more stuff.

They aren't easy to find, but if you can find them, you should check them out.

Just remember to avoid magnet closure bags as the magnets could demagnetize your room keys and/or passes.

I have a sony a100(so I could use old minolta lenses), I brought a smaller bag for the body and the 2 lenses and put my camcorder(panasonic 2 yrs old) in my short pocket, last week and I felt I always had all bases covered
PS never did make to any water rides
