Camera Tips

I am looking to buy a new camera. Does anyone have any tips for a very user friendly, not too high tech camera??

I really like my Canon Powershot. It has some neat features yet at the same time its not so high tech that I can't figure it out. I also love the fact that it easily fits into my pocket.

Kodak also makes good cameras. I've had one for several years now, it still works great it was just to bulky

The Nikon Coolpix series are wonderful. Easy-cheesy to use, and they double as a video camera! (your able to switch to video mode and record as long as your memory card can hold) Great little pocket size.....perfect!

I have a full size Canon Digital Rebel SLR with all the lenses, zooms and such that I love, but most of the time i'll just grab the little Nikon and shoot away!!

I am considering the Canon PowerShot SX10 IS or the Canon PowerShot G10 or the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS. I know all Canon and all priced around the same.

I always look for at least 8MP -although I now prefer 10
a zoom of 10x or better
a camera that takes AA or AAA batteries for easy replacement
bonus-video, and small compact size

I have had great luck with Fuji's

I love my new canon power shot camera. It takes good pictures with a 20X zoom, and it isnt very difficult to use.

Included a camera case and 8 mb memory card for $149.
Pretty easy to use, and so simple to upload pics onto computer!
