Has anyone run out of memory and had to used camera services at the world to download unto a cd. And do they do video from sd cards or just pictures from sd cards. One last question if i can ask it how much does it cost. Trying to decide if i have enough memory to take pics and video of shows. Or will i have to download. Quick note plan on doing 6 days in the parks I think I need 19hrs of video time(I would like to get all the shows and parades and some of the rides) any opions on this. :thanks:

I have not used that service and do not know the price; however, given the premium that Disney charges for their services, I would recommend that you just purchase some extra storage. The prices are relatively low and t is always good to have backup storage just in case. If you use SD cards, I believe that you can find some for just under $20.

I have a laptop, that I take with me when traveling. At night I will dump my pictures on to the laptop but still use another SD card for the next day. I try to rotate my cards and only re-format them after I am sure that my photographs are "safe and sound."

We went on a non-Disney 4 day trip in June. I was not able to take my laptop so I just brought extra SD cards. It worked out well.

Have a great trip.

I agree with Frugal. No doubt bringing extra memory cards will be cheaper then paying for services at Disney. I also load all my pics to my lappy every night but don't erase the card unless I absolutely have to.

Last I heard, burning a CD at WDW from your memory card costs $13, plus your time and hassle. A CD holds up to 700 megs. I have no idea if they do videos or not, but I don't see why not (unless the video is too big to fit on a single CD, in which case, it'd have to be broken into pieces or burnt to DVD.)

Most any camera can handle a 2gb card, and you can easily find them for $13 or so now. Burning a full 2gb to CD at WDW will cost you three CDs, or $39, plus, again, your time.

If your camera can handle SDHC, an 8g can be had for about $30 now...

It's much better to have more memory cards than you think you'll need! Or a laptop with a CD/DVD burner, and clear them yourself at the end of the day.
